Itinerary

  • Please note all times are estimates and are subject to change.
  • Most retreats are within 2 hours driving time in good traffic from Los Angeles.
  • All meals, Tai Chi, Yoga, etc. are open to everyone, including spouses, partners and children.
  • Work study groups are restricted to MFR therapists only, EXCEPT Saturday evening – which is open to everyone!
  • Generally the work study groups are in this order: pelvis; shoulders; group unwinding;  your choice (can include self-treatment); neck/head
  • We ask you to please keep your sharing in the circles to under 3 minutes in order to maintain the schedule.
  • FOR CRUISE: Tuesday & Thursday evening work study groups are open to friends/family)

FRIDAY (Monday for cruise)

  • 5:00 pm-Group Welcome Dinner offsite – OPTIONAL
  • 7:00 pm-Registration at retreat site
  • 7:30 pm-Retreat opening circle w/centering exercise, guidelines review
  • 8:00 pm-1-on-1 study groups (Pelvic Girdle)
  • 9:45 pm-Closing circle
  • 10:00 pm-Retreat Toasting and Social Time

SATURDAY (Tuesday for cruise, evening repeated Thursday at 7)

  • By 9:30 am- Breakfast on your own, usually included
  • 9:30 am-Tai Chi / Yoga – OPTIONAL
  • 10:00 am-Retreat morning circle w/centering exercise, soul card selection
  • 10:30 am-2-on-1 study groups (Shoulder Girdle)
  • 12:15 pm-Closing circle
  • 12:30 pm-Lunch on your own
  • 2:00 pm-Retreat afternoon group unwinding, outdoors or w/live drummers
  • 4:00 pm-Closing Circle
  • 4:15 pm-FREE TIME
  • 6:00 pm-POTLUCK or group dinner (dinner provided by cruise)
  • 7:30 pm-Retreat evening circle open to everyone
  • 7:45 pm-2 hours personal choice: bodywork, dance, meditate, self-treat
  • 9:45 pm-Closing Circle

SUNDAY (Wednesday evening at 7 for cruise)

  • By 9:00 am- Breakfast on your own, usually included
  • 9:00 am-Tai Chi / Yoga – OPTIONAL
  • 9:30 am-Retreat morning circle w/centering exercise, soul card selection
  • 10:00 am-1-on-1 study groups (Neck/Head)
  • 12:15 pm-Retreat closing circle
  • 12:30 pm-Group lunch w/leftovers – OPTIONAL
